The educational system in Colombia and Venezuela

In the following text, you can look the different types of education between Venezuela and Colombia and how many similar things between Venezuela and Colombia.

Colombia is fifteen years of compulsory education, from the age of three to seventeen. Schools are public and private and they have two calendars A (from January to November) and B (September to June).

Pre-school education in Colombia; children start when they are three or four years old. It is compulsory there are three levels pre-kinder, kinder and transition, where children learn to share with other children and other basic things. When children finish it, they pass to primary school from the age at 6 to 12 years old.
Later they pass to high school from 12 to 17 years old.
High schools are six compulsory years, when they have to study compulsay subjects.
In 11th grade they have to take a goverment test called ICFES to graduete and start studying at university, when usually study five years more before begin their proffesional life.

Venezuela has a similar education system but it has some differences like:
Venezuela primary school has six years, high school is five years. In some schools when you are in 9th grade you can choose between science or agropecuarial (animals plants). If you choose agropecuarial, when you graduate you have a degree “tecnico medio” (technisian) that permits you to work if you can´t go to university.
If you choose science you see subjects related with science like:
Physics, math, chemist, technical drawing and languages. With this type of education you only have a high school degree and you can´t work, you have to go university where you have to study five years more usually.

Once you have known the education in these two countries, you can identify and compare the various types of education in Latin America.

Education.. By Estefanía Galvis

Actually, the Colombian education has a half level in comparison with other countries. Colombia is characterized to have four education levels, also in Colombia the students can study in public schools or in private schools; this Colombian system of education is very similar to other systems of education of other countries like Venezuela.
The first education level is the preschooler, in this level the children learn the basic functions of the language and in general this level has duration of 3 years.
The second level is the primary basic education; this level has duration of 5 years. The third level is the secondary education, this level has duration of 6 years, and the last two years of the secondary school are the most important. in the last two years of the secondary school the students study matters like English, political sciences, democracy, chemistry, physics, mathematics, philosophy, etc.
When the students finish the secondary, they have to present an obligatory exam; the name of the obligatory exam is the ICFES. After study in the secondary school the students receive a diploma like “Bachiller academico”. People can work or to study the fourth education level after of the secondary school.
In the fourth education level the students can study a technical career in institutions like the SENA or they can make a pre-grade education and they can study a professional career as medicine, right, infirmary, social communication, etc. The students can study a post-grade education to be the most professional after of study a pre-grade education. The students have to study the pre-grade education and the post-grade education in a university, in Colombia, in this country there are very good universities like the Sabana University, The Javeriana University, The Nacional University, etc.
In conclution, the colombian education isn`t the best but is good for the people that live in this country, also in other countries the education is similar.

THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN COLOMBIA AND VENEZUELA

The educational system in Colombia and Venezuela can say that is very good and complete, and in the next written I talked about of educational system in the countries that I mentioned.

The educational system in Colombia has four levels: Pre-school education, basic education, half education and the third level is divided into three: Technical education, pregado and postgraduate.
The Pre-school education has three grades, one is obligatory and there are no informal programs of ICBF (INSTITUTO COLOMBIANO DE BIENESTAR FAMILIAR).

The basic education has nine years compulsory because the students study in school the grades first to ninth. The children go to private or public school depending of the economic situation.

In the half education are the grades tenth and eleventh, the student can study in SENA or no formal education.

The superior education has three levels; the first is the Technical education where the students can study in SENA or in technical professional institutions, the second is the Pregrado (professional) where the students can study in the universities and university institutions; and finally, the third level is postgraduate that is at universities.

The educational system in Venezuela has four levels: Pre-school education, basic education, half and professional education and finally superior education.

The first level “Pre-school” is compulsory and the children have to start at five years. The second level is “basic education” is compulsory and the level has stages: The first has three years and the children study the grades first to third, the second stage has three years and the children study the grades fourth to sixth, and the last stage is where children study the grades seventh to eleventh.

The fourth level “superior education” is where the students can study in universities, polytechnics, Institutos especiales de Formación e Oficiales de las Fuerzas Armadas. And finally the students can do postgraduate, doctorate, etc.

La patasola

People say that the Patasola is the spirit of a woman who was unfaithful love with the pattern of her husband, when her husband discovered the deceit killed the skipper with a knife and cut her leg, she ran with her only leg until it bled and died. We also have that it was a woman who lost a leg to be cutting firewood for a Good Friday, when supposedly no one has to work or do anything, and was sentenced to err on the world, and hear their cries of pain in the evening, with the particularity that when you hear near and far is when you hear about this far.
It is a female figure with one leg in the form of a tree trunk that ends in a hoof or a bear's paw, which is advancing rapidly. Has only one heart in the chest with very long arms and hands like claws. Its appearance is terrifying: tangled hair, big eyes of tiger, large mouth, huge tusks. Lives in the mountains and has been seen singing in a tree waiting to climb out of the moon. It is a defender of wildlife and the mountains. It is believed owner and lady of the jungle surrounded by evil beasts and vermin. Seeks to hunters, miners and a sawmill and hates the sown, knifes and dogs.
Sometimes presents as a beautiful and seductive woman who calls men to love and attracts, but as it progresses towards the darkness of the forest is becoming a fire monster with eyes, mouth with teeth of huge cat, and a jellyfis dishevelled hair that falls over his face to hide its ugliness and eats up the bones stop peeled and watered by all parties, who manage to escape returning disrupted. At other times, they hear the cries of a woman lost; shout for the helper, but the moans are becoming more pitiful as it moves toward the victim and, when it is already very close, it becomes a beast that is cast on the person , It sucks blood, and ends with his sharp breaking Tusks. Lost to hunters and dogs, erasing all traces of the game and leaves in place the imprint of his hoof or imitating the animal's persecuted in the opposite direction to where the animals escaped, which will get lost in the woods to hunters, so incredible speeds approaching able to attack them, or to haunt us at night with caresses clumsy to weaken them. It also aims to the miners who have many tools, because he hates ax, knife and punishes farmers sending gales to destroy their crops, and more if they are corn. Occasionally also appears to children as a butterfly that pump up the forest to suck blood.

This is a typical story of the Venezuelan plains.

It tells the story that long time ago, lived a very beautiful woman named Melissa. Since she was a little girl she was very jealous. Melisa grew, and she was married with a wonderful man who was unable to hurt anyone. They soon had a beautiful child, but in their town, lived a man who had worked as a miner and was ill- intentioned, liar and womanizer who are freaked by it, came one day and told her: I came to warn you,my lady that your husband is betraying you for your own mother. Something totally uncertain, to hear this balm came running towards her house upon arrival found her husband and her son, full of jealousy, set fire to his own house in which he was her husband and their 9-month-old baby, were far from could hear the cries of the baby and the husband's screams but for the neighbors when they arrived it was too late. While the neighbors were deplored melissa had already arrived at the home of his mother, to whom he told what he had done and because he did it, the horrified mother telling her that she had not betrayed while fleeing toward the courtyard, but was unable to escape and Melissa attacked with an ax in the stomach giving it before she died said, never lied to you, and your commits the worst sin, kill, but I condemn you Sayona.
Since then, is that the men were womanizer is a beautiful white woman, thin, high, with long nails and teeth as a hatchet and very elegant looking and a skull. The Sayona has the peculiarity of "unfold", this means that it may appear like a dog, a wolf or women as described above, who hates men infidels.

THE WAILER(COLOMBIA)....

Since time in memorial the ghost of wailer moves by the valleys of Colombia, the ghost is a woman, she wears a white dress, the dress covers up her heels. She has long hair and black. Her face causes surprise, terror and fright because her face is a skull. When the wailer shouts she cries tears of blood. . On her head there is a crow "the birdfrom the dead, the disgrace and misfortune." People say that the wailer only attacks to doctors and nurses, when they help to pregnant women who think of abortion. Too she attacks to the men, when they left a pregnant young and they deny their paternity and they evade their responsibility.
